JITO Chennai along with the JITO Ladies Wing recently hosted its much-anticipated "Food and Wellness Story" event, showcasing an impressive display of talent and teamwork. The event has been organized from 30 Sep - 01 Oct 2023 at Rani Mayammai Hall, Egmore, Chennai. The objective of the feat has been to promote food and nutrition-related production, businesses and to provide a unique platform to new enterprises related to new technology, modern gadgets, and other areas related to them. The fair of flavors was organized with various food stalls. The highlight of the event was the establishment of two extraordinary World Records in cupcake decoration, orchestrated by a team of 25 skilled (home) bakers.
World Record 1: The team successfully decorated the highest number of cupcakes in just one hour, demonstrating their precision and creativity. The achievement has been registered in the Golden Book of World Records with the title "Most Cupcakes Decorated in One Hour".
World Record 2: In an astounding feat, the team accomplished the fastest decoration of 1,000 cupcakes, showcasing their unwavering determination and skill. The feat has been recognized by the Golden Book of World Records with the title "Fastest Feat of Decorating One Thousand Cupcakes".
Provisional certificates of both world records were felicitated by the representative of GBWR, Mr. Vedansh Soni, present in the program. Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head, Golden Book of World Records, congratulated JITO Ladies Wing, Chennai for inscribing the name of the organization with golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records.
Being the brainchild of Shivani Jain, Chairperson – JITO Ladies, Sonali Dugar, Chief Curator, the success of this endeavor was possible because of the support and guidance of our Chapter Chairman Ramesh Dugar and Chief Secretary Nehal Shah and board members - Sapna Bethala (Chief Secretary), Swapna Kochar (Convener), Mamtha Mutha (Co Convenver), their JITO Chennai counterparts and the entire JITO community.

The event claimed to be South India’s biggest food and wellness extravaganza showcases mouth-watering cuisines, innovations in food tech, health and wellness, talks by industry experts, gourmet stores and more is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the JITO Ladies Wing to foster innovation and celebrate achievements. It truly embodied the organization's core values and vision. The feat was organized in collaboration with "Suhana Masala". The main objective of the expo was to promote, guide and develop the skills of women entrepreneurs. The earnings generated through the expo will be donated to provide seed funding to women establishing small-scale startups.
