Deepchandi Sanyas Ashram's name registered in Golden Book of World Records for reciting Akhand Maharudra Path

Akhand Maharudra Path of Lord Mahadev was organized in the spirit of public welfare during Shravan month and Purushottam month at Deepchandi Sanyas Ashram located on Gada Road in Botad, Gujarat. Organized under the leadership of Mahant Mahasukhanand Saraswati of the ashram, this unbroken Maharudra recitation lasted for 24 hours and lasted for the entire month of Shravan. About 175 families participated in this Maharudra recitation and took advantage of Rudra recitation.

The Maharudra Path is a major Hindu religious initiation process that is a combination of the eleven disciplines of the Sri Rudrashtakam. This Abhishek Path is dedicated to Lord Shiva and its main purpose is to worship, praise and adore him. The name Maharudra Path comes from the Vedic process in which forms of Lord Shiva called Rudra are anointed. This text is considered a symbol of spirituality, strength and peace and provides a path for devotees to attain the blessings of Shiva. In the ritual of Maharudra Path, devotees chant the songs, mantras and shlokas of Rudrashtakam, which symbolize their spiritual ideals. This recitation is done with Akshat, Dhoop, Deep, Flowers, Neewer etc. and through this Shiva is worshiped and praised. As a result of reciting Maharudra, devotees experience the grace, blessings and joy of Shiva. It encourages their spiritual and physical development and helps them achieve contentment, peace and higher levels of purposeful achievement.

The specialty of this Akhand Maharudra recitation organized in Deepchandi Sanyas Ashram during Shravan month and Purushottam month was that this recitation continued continuously for the whole month, every day i.e. 24 hours for 30 days. This unbroken Maharudra path for the longest time was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of "Longest Feat of Incessant Rudra Path". Which was confirmed by the National Head of Golden Book of World Records, Mr. Alok Kumar during the program.
